 Summer Update & Playoff format |

Playoff Format: Divisions with 15 or more teams will advance the Top Point team directly to Citywide and bypass the playoffs. Those divisions will have two COC playoffs: 2nd vs. 5th and 3rd vs. 4th will playoff as normal; 6th vs. wildcard (unless there's a tie for 8th) and 7th vs. 8th will playoff for a second COC spot but that winner will play Friday night at COC in an extra round and will not receive awards. The Citywide winners, Challenge winners, Top Gun and Gal winners are all in the Photo Gallery, if you haven't checked yet.
Next Monday is July 5th and some of you may have that as a holiday, but if you're unable to play Monday night, call me to arrange to reschedule it with the opponent. (playing someone twice is also and option). Several Monday schedules are quite short so don't delay in playing the make ups ASAP.

June 15th is the deadline to submit the entry into the APA's US Amatuer event. If you want more information about it, go to www.poolplayers.com
The singles qualifying window for the first period is also June 15th, but I will accept boards until Jun 20th to allow one more weekend to play them.

8Ball Citywide this upcoming weekend at Shark City. Spectators welcome, but no minors allowed.

The COC, Two Citywide tournaments, Top Gun, Top Gal and the Annual Top Gun tournament are all right around the corner. Yikes! Most teams are done or almost done. I never realized how simple our playoff system was until I started watching the Hawks. Damn, that's long! As the Hawks go to the Stanley, we'll go to work too... to get our winners to Vegas.
